Growing up in West Texas we regularly traveled down to the windswept gorge known as Polo Duro Canyon. The geode incrusted walls and mica sheets of my youth served to remind me of the beauty in nature. I wanted to recreate my childhood with this reproduction titled "Neeso Hiisiis" or "The Three Suns" the piece is layered XPSÂ foam covered in sand and painted in acrylic paint with a resin river.
